BURTON, Mich., -- According to a news release, General Motors will be opening a parts processing center in Burton.
A ceremony will be held on Monday, August 5 at the facility located at 4420 Davison Road.
The all-new $65 million parts processing facility represents GM’s largest single investment in a U.S. warehousing and logistics facility in nearly 40 years, according to the release.
General Motors just recently made a $150 million investment at its Flint assembly plant to boost production of heavy duty trucks.
Because of the new investment, the company says it will now be able to make an additional 40 thousand of these trucks a year.
