Candy Cane Lane is up and running again for the holiday season. Candy Cane Lane is a storied tradition here in Milwaukee and it benefits the MACC fund..that's Midwest Atheletes Against Childhood Cancer Inc. Come on down to West Allis and see the beautiful lights display and help raise money for research to battle childhood cancer.
Candy Cane Lane is located from Montana Ave to Oklahoma Avenue....96th to 92nd street. It is staffed by a group of volunteers who work tirelessly to stand and take your donations as you drive through. So grab your piggy bank and come on down this holiday season. Candy Cane Lane runs from 6-9 pm on weekdays and 5-10 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
I will be there tonight at 7 pm as a volunteer collecting cash for MACC. I hope to see you there. The folks from ComedySportz will also be there to entertain!!!
Every Penny Counts. Every Donation Matters.
Why? Because every child battling cancer or a blood disorder is someone’s child, someone’s sibling, someone’s friend.
MACC Fund supported research has had a significant impact. We’ve helped increase the five-year survival rate for all types of childhood cancer rates from 20% when the MACC Fund began to 80% today but the battle is far from over, we still have work to do.
Thanks to our generous donors, participants, and volunteers, the MACC Fund has contributed over $57 MILLION DOLLARS to childhood cancer and related blood disorders research. Our goal is to cure the MACC Fund out of existence. Your support of critical research impacts children throughout the country and the world. Successful protocols developed in Wisconsin have become the standard for patient care across not only the United States - but around the world. The MACC Fund supports research at the following facilities and cancer centers:
