CW18 & My24 Invite You to Pick Your Adventure Your Way with the 2021 Polar Plunge

The season to support the efforts of the Special Olympics Wisconsin is here, with a twist! CW18 & My24 once again proudly partner with the Polar Plunge in a year that sees an even greater need to raise funds that 100% go to empower the incredible athletes who are breaking down barriers to build communities of inclusion in our home state.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, what would have been this year's traditional plunging experience has transformed into four fun and safe ways to participate. Although things will look a little different this year, we ARE confident you’ll have a blast with the Special Olympics Wisconsin's safe and social distancing-friendly adventure options in 2021!

THE GREAT OUTDOORS: Wisconsinites may choose from eight locations around the state that will offer a unique sledding, tubing and/or snowshoeing experience for the adventurous Winter Warriors. We at CW18 & My24 would love for you to join us at one (or all!) of our three area events in the 2021 edition. Please understand that your safety is the Polar Plunge events' #1 priority. All attendees will be required to follow state and local COVID safety protocols that include wearing masks and remaining 6 feet apart from other guests not in your household (this will be strictly enforced). In addition, attendees must also follow venue-specific safety protocols. For each event, participants must register and raise a minimum of $75 to cover their plunge experience and long-sleeve tee! The more you raise, the more athletes you can support while earning some cool swag!

Please be advised:

  • Online registration required (no day-of, in-person registration will be allowed this year)
  • Checks/credit cards preferred (cash will be discouraged)
  • Guests need to register online one week prior to the event in order to receive a t-shirt day-of (all other items will be distributed via the online store)
  • All Great Outdoors experiences will happen rain, sleet, snow, or shine! Be prepared.
  • Don't forget your required facemask, as well as friends, family, co-worker, or other socially distanced wannabe plungers!
  • Dress accordingly, with snow gear and boots. It's a good idea to bring a duffel bag, backpack, etc. for additional warm clothes and your new swag!
